We have also joined the Staff of One Heart One Mind Practitioner body to further the goals of Centers for Spiritual Living as well. All Practitioner classes and accredited classes for Centers for Spiritual Living are taught through One Heart-One Mind Center for Spiritual Living and are separate and not associated in any way with New Thought Consciousness Studies and New Thought University. These are two very different entities although the principles being taught are the same Religious Science Principles, the only difference is in the organizational structure and the rule and regulations on how these are to be taught set by Centers for Spiritual Living. We are not part of the official integration of the two entities known as ICSL and United that are now merged for the sake of greater collaboration and ability to grow their centers world wide.

WHO WE ARE
We are a community without walls, and are fully affiliated and accredited through Emerson
Theological Institute. We offer Workshops and Degree Programs in
Practitioner Studies, Accepted Emerson Theological Institute Ministerial Classes (to be applied toward licensing) , Doctoral studies, and
Community Enrichment and Educational programs.
Our Community Empowerment Projects Outreach Program Provides seminars on
Self-Esteem, Building Healthy Relationships, Effective Communication
Skills, Growing Through the Transitions in Life, and Unleashing
the Creative Power within by going into disenfranchised communities and
acting as a conduit for bringing other organizations together
in supportive and cooperative alliances to elevate the quality of life
for all with a strong emphasis on environmental and spiritual
consciousness.
We Further offer personal sessions in visioning, Spiritual Counseling, Prayer Support and Life Coaching to assist in creating an abundant, spiritually based plan of action to unleash the power withing and to use these principles in which we believe in a positive and supportive way for the good of all.

We believe in God, the Living Spirit Almighty; one, indestructible, absolute and self-existent Cause. This One manifests itself in and through all creation but is not absorbed by its creation. The manifest universe is the body of God; it is the logical and necessary outcome of the infinite self-knowingness of God.

We believe in the incarnation of the Spirit in everyone and that all people are incarnations of the One Spirit.

We believe in the eternality, the immortality, and the continuity of the individual soul, forever and ever expanding.

We believe that Heaven is within us and that we experience it to the degree that we become conscious of it.

Dr. Wanda is the founding minister of New Thought Con/CEPS, a school of consciousness studies and outreach programs a non-profit corporation in San Diego, and serves as an associate staff minister and practitioner at One Heart, One Mind Center for Spiritual Living in San Diego under senior ministers Drs. Tom and Gisela Sanner. She originally Began her Studies under Reverend Dr. Terry-Cole Whittaker in 1981.
She served for 18 months as the the former assistant to the Minister for Om Spiritual Center under Reverend Suzette Wehunt. Her personal Vision is and was to help other practitioners and ministers to develop their ministries and to allow them to operate under her umbrella until they are ready to move into their own non-profits and pay it forward by mentoring others.
She Studied for her Practitioner Licensing under Reverend. Dr. Kathy Hearn with Pacific Church of Religious Science, Reverends Angela Geary and Jerry Fetterly with Universal Spirit Center, Reverend Patti Paris founding minister of Vision Center for Spiritual Living and became a licensed Practitioner with United Centers for Spiritual Living in 2008. She went on the obtain her Ministerial License and Doctor of Divinity Degrees from Emerson Theological Institute and is fully affiliated with Emerson as a satellite for the Practitioner, Ministerial and Doctoral Studies. She works one on one with the matriculated long distance students through Skype, and Internet studies. Among her students are a long distance study group from Kenya.Her unique and creative educational and leadership style,sense of humor and compassion is instrumental in encouraging the inward journey and unleashing the Creative Power within her students.
As a graduate of the Women's Healthcare Leadership Program for the State of California she has served on the California State Planning Group and chaired the committee on the development of the AIDS DRUG ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. She is currently a member of the medical advisory committee for this program and sits on the Community Advisory Board for Univerity of California San Diego's Owen Clinic
As a member of the Associated Global New Thought Network (AGNT) she is currently on a core group working to develop The Divine Feminine, Women as Spiritual Leaders in the world.
For the past two years she has served as the Membership Chair of the San Diego league of Practitioners who's vision was to become more green throughout the use of current technology in notifying members of meetings and events.
Her current community projects include a Wolf Sanctuary in Julian. (wwww.wolfeducationproject.org) and the Kindred Spirit Animal Ministry started in 2008, An Aids Ministry, teaching life skills to those struggling with potentially life threatening illnesses and Life As Art--a program designed to increase awareness off the co-creation of our lives as living art. She also serves as staff for the Strength for the Journey HIV yearly retreat at Camp Cedar Glen in Julian, CA. As the founding minister for the Kindred Spirit Animal Ministry she has developed an annual unique Holistic Animal Fair Adopt-A-Thon and Blessing in San Diego County held in Balboa Park Her Vison of an animal ministry in every church takes form in being an umbrella for other churches to participate each year in this event without regard to Denomination.
Her soon to be published book, "From There to Here, One Women's Journey out of the darkness is a tribute to an indomitable spirit that has not only survived child abuse, Addiction and AIDS but that inspires others with the the unlimited potentiality available though the use of Science of Mind Principles. Through humor and love all is possible.
She is available for Visioning, Practitioner and Spiritual Counseling, Personal Prayer Sessions and Life Coaching.

Rev.Dr. Ruth M. Hobson has been a member of the New Thought Center for Creative Living, now the Joyful Living Church, since 1986,became a Religious Science Practitioner in 1991, and received her Ministerial Credential and Doctor of Religious Science Credentials in 1998 . She is the past Dean of Emerson Ministerial Studies and Board of Regents member under Dr. Marilynn Hall and is now the Dean of Consciousness Studies for New Thought Con/CEPS an Affiliate of Emerson Theological Institute and Satellite Campus.
She also serves as a staff minister, for Joyful Living Church and head of Jr. Church under Reverend Jerry Troyer.
Reverend Dr. Ruth has served on the Board of the San Diego League of Practitioners for six years as Prayer Chair and currently holds the position of Vice-President.
Dr. Ruth has been a teacher in the Unified San Diego School District for thirty years and upon retiring from this position is currently employed as a visiting teach in this district. She has served as a Gifted and Talented Educational Consultant for the San Diego City School District.
As an innovative educator she has also been awarded for Excellence and Leadership in Gifted and Talented Education.
Through her association with Toastmasters International she has been recognized as a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) and been given the High Performance Leadership award.
She continues to be dedicated to her work in all of the fore mentioned areas because she believes that everyone is God-expressing. Dr. Ruth incorporates the Science of Mind Principles in her spiritual work as well as has written courses on the teachings of Thomas Troward, Hidden Mysteries of the Bible and Specializes in Spiritual Writing and is an Accredited Life Coach.
